Caffeine Fix: CB&TL & Aroma Cafe

There’s no doubt that I love the Coffee Bean! Ever since I tried it for the first time two years ago when I moved to L.A., I fell in love. In fact, I frequent the local CBTL shop down the street from my apartment to get my daily caffiene fix… usually a Hazelnut Soy Latte or a Spring Peach Tea Latte! Not only do I love their handcrafted drinks, I’m also a big fan of their teas!!
Quick, convenient, friendly service and what I love most is their social media presence! Being a social media professional myself, I greatly appreciate their savvy use of social media to connect with their consumers/fans like me! I love following them on Twitter (@TheCoffeeBean) because I’m always in-the-know about free drink days and special promotions/contests. Plus they are really great about replying to my tweets :) My go-to coffee and tea place will forever and always be The Coffee Bean <3
Once in a while though, I like to treat myself to a latte and/or even a breakfast/lunch at the Aroma Cafe down the street in Studio City. Originally a residential home, Aroma Cafe is hidden on Tjunga Ave off of Moorpark away from all the noise and traffic.
L.A.’s Best… Cupcakes!

Cupcake shops have been popping up everywhere! Like most trends, the first specialty cupcake bakery was opened right here in Los Angeles… More specifically, Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills claims to be the first boutique bakery of its kind. Sprinkles quickly gained popularity and has since expanded to multiple locations and spurred countless copy-cat cupcake shops, not only here in Los Angeles, but nationwide.
What’s so special about cup-sized cakes? They are more than just a high calorie and (arguably) over-priced treat; they are cute, convenient and have become a signature trendy gesture.

If you know me, you know I love my sushi! And I must admit that I’ve found some pretty good spots in Los Angeles to get the best fresh sushi! Here are my two favorite spots depending if you’re in the mood to splurge on a special dinner or if you want great sushi right NOW for a steal…

Even before moving to LA I had seen KOI mentioned as a celeb sushi “hot spot” in magazines like US Weekly. I knew I would have to see for myself what all the buzz was about and if it really lived up to all the hype! I went for the first time in celebration of my 22nd birthday!
