It seems like just yesterday that I was a Freshman at Syracuse University signing up for this thing called “The Facebook”… it’s crazy to think how Social Media has expanded and evolved in such a short time! I really couldn’t imagine my life without Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram… not only is it my passion but it’s also become my career and I feel extremely lucky to do what I love.

Through using Social Media for both personal and business purposes, I have seen first hand it’s power to share knowledge and information as well as connect people in really meaningful ways. Just from my own experience, I have been connected with some incredible people via Twitter who I now consider close friends in real life!
Oh and after tweeting that I failed to find parking at The Coffee Bean, without skipping a beat they offered to make up for it by mailing be a $5 gift card! I love Social Media’s ability to connect people in real-time and enable brands to have a two-way dialogue with their consumers.
